QUICK SUPPORT:

WINDOWS 7 INSTALL ISSUE: If you have recently upgraded to Windows 7 or are installing for the first time on Windows 7, you may experience issues initially. Click here to download a small patch file which should resolve those issues.

INSTALLATION:

  1. If you do not already have an account, you must CREATE A NEW FILTERPAK ACCOUNT before you can install.
  2. Download the FilterPak exe.
  3. The first window shows general information regarding the installation. Click Next >.
  4. The installer will ask for the FilterPak Administrator Login and Password. Click Next >.
  5. The installer asks for the location of the installation. It is recommended that you use the default location. Click Next >.
  6. The installer will ask for the name of the program manager group to which the FilterPak should be added. It is recommended that you use the default value. Click Next >.
  7. The installer will ask if you want to continue. Click Next >.
  8. Click Finish > after the installation is complete.Click OK to restart the computer so the changes take effect.

ADMINISTRATION / MY ACCOUNT: The administrator of the account has the ability to modify user profiles, create user profiles, uninstall the FilterPak and update credit card information. Click here for FilterPak Administration.

USER LOGIN: A user may login two different ways. A User Login is different than an Administrative Login. A User Login will have filtering categories selected to be blocked.

  1. When you access the web via a browser the FilterPak will prompt for a username and a password.
  2. In the taskbar there will be a FilterPak icon. You may click on the FilterPak icon to login manually.
